sitges
Are you coming to Sitges?
Have you already been many times ...?
But ... do you know her?
In just 1:30 you will understand why it was one of the most important towns in the 13th century and how its port had an impact on the Mediterranean economy. We will start our tour on the Paseo Marítimo and we will talk about its origins. We will continue our walk through what is known as the street of sin in order to reach the main street and see some modernist buildings. We will arrive at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento surrounded by fantastic modernist palaces and we will see the Old Market building where until now the Bacardi museum has been. We will pass by the Maricel Palace and the Maricel Museum and also the Cau Ferrat Museum. And from the Plaza de la Iglesia we will count the battles that occurred there. We will finish in front of the sculptures of the painters Santiago Rusiñol and Ramón Casas.
A walk is as pleasant as the town itself, which will make you know this beautiful municipality.
